"Antiktusches" Rohrer drawing ink

These highly pigmented inks are characterized by their exceptional color combination. The different colors offer the artist perfect and innovative possibilities for his artistic creations. By using high quality pigments, a good to very good lightfastness has been achieved.
The wide range of applications of this Indian ink is particularly noteworthy, both in terms of drawing techniques and objects. Rohrer Indian ink can be used with pen and brush in calligraphy and especially in drawing.
Its relatively high pigment content allows it to be used with rapidographs and 0.35 mm isographs without any noticeable deterioration of the line. But it is also well suited for Rohrer airbrush.
The dyes unite synchronous wetting, a very high degree of contour sharpness, which results in a perfect wash under favorable drying conditions.
Antique Indian ink is well suited for representations on multiple backgrounds, i.e. drawing paper, drawing board, transparent paper as well as on matt plastic foil.
For calligraphy, it is also suitable for highly absorbent media such as Ingres tank paper or watercolor paper.
The use of an acrylic resin binder helps to achieve waterproof washes. The renunciation of a fountain solution allows an excellent flow of this ink without sinking into the support.
