Museum soft watercolor pencils
The Museum colored pencil allows many drawing and painting techniques such as wash, wet on dry, wet on wet, precise lines, glazing and blurring effects. Diluted with water, the Museum color pencil becomes a pure watercolor thanks to its pigment concentration and transparency.
For its 76 colors, Caran d'Ache offers transparent lightfastness information ranging from ** to ***** which ensures unchanged colors for up to 100 years.
This is based on the Blue Wool Scale, which measures the color fastness to light.
